Manage Identity (accounts and resources) in Omnissa Connect using authentication policies and OAuth applications.
Omnissa Connect supports two types of identities to exist for users (called Administrators in the console) and applications that interact with Omnissa services. Accounts created using Omnissa IDs and accounts created using federated identities using Enterprise Federation.
Many different features and tools exist to manage authentication with these identities.
Omnissa IDs
To manage accounts (users and applications) created with Omnissa IDs, use authentication policies and OAuth applications.
Authentication policies
Authentication policies allow you to configure secured access to your services through multi-factor authentication (MFA), allowed IP ranges, and source domains.
OAuth applications
You can create OAuth applications that can interact with protected resources within your organization.
Federated identities with end user management
End user management allows you to manage end user identities and authentication through federated connections to your Identity Provider (IDP). This type of the management is explained in depth in the Enterprise Federation section.
