Omnissa Connect, the gateway to Omnissa
Omnissa Connect is a web-based service that provides a centralized access point to all Omnissa services and solutions. It is designed to provide a set of common features to allow secured and enhanced experiences with Omnissa products and platforms.
Omnissa Connect currently covers functionality in the following areas.
- Admin Access and Identity: You can establish authentication policies to secure access to services using multi-factor authentication (MFA), secure domains, and IP ranges.
- Owners have the authority to set policies regarding who can access services and to accept or deny access requests.
- Additionally, you can configure OAuth applications to integrate with organizations.
- Owners can invite other users (called Administrators) and assign roles across all of Omnissa's services.
- Omnissa Connect offers identity federation, permitting users to log in using their corporate credentials.
- Service Onboarding and Access: Omnissa Connect serves as the central platform for all your users to onboard their services.
- It facilitates service onboarding and assists users in accessing services through single sign-on (SSO).
- Unified Experience and Discovery: Omnissa Connect features a Home page that acts as a launch point for the various services that comprise Omnissa.
- This experience provides tailored access to different functionalities based on profiles and roles, with plans for further personalization.
- The Home page also serves as a hub for you to discover additional Omnissa services and to explore them before making purchasing decisions.

Home page
The Home page is the entry page for everyone and it provides many capabilities and experiences. On the Home page you can access your Omnissa services, support requests, and other resources.
Customize the Home page
Select Home > Overview tab > Customize to arrange, hide, or show sections to enhance work flows and user experiences. 
Customizations, which are available to all roles, include the following features.

- Show or hide sections using the slider menus.
- Use the Reset To Default menu option to display all sections.
- Drag and drop sections using the 6 dots to arrange information. You cannot move the Feed section.
- Use the Expand All or Collapse All menu options to help visualize the sections while you customize the page.
Feed
The Feed section, found on the Home page, lists the latest news about Omnissa curated from the following Omnissa sites.
- Omnissa TechZone
- Omnissa Knowledge Base
- Omnissa Documentation
- Omnissa Blog

Each card in the list includes a link to the article, the name of the Omnissa site where the article lives, and the name of the relevant Omnissa product. To navigate to the article in a new browser tab, select the navigation icon next to the article title.
Select View All to see the Feed page which contains a list of topics and filters to help you find the content you want.
- The page displays content depending on your licensing and saved filters.
- The page initially displays 20 articles but you can infinitely scroll through more than 20 articles if there is more content that meets your licensing and filter criteria.
- Use the menu options to find content.
- Tabs: If you know the omnissa site you want to search, select the corresponding tab, Knowledge Base, TechZone, Documentation, or Omnissa Blog.
- Filters: If you don't know the site but you know the service or content you want, use the Service and Topic filters to focus the search.
- The Feed page automatically saves your current filters and uses them when you next visit.
- If you do not want to use the same filters as your last visit, clear them using the Clear Filters menu option.
- You can save useful filters.
- Use the Search text field to enter a keyword to find information.
- Date range: Use the date range drop-down to filter content over a period of time.
- Display toggle: Toggle between a list view or a card view depending on your viewing preference.
- Bookmark: Use the bookmark icon to save content to your Bookmarks feed.
- To remove a bookmark, deselect the bookmark icon.
- Select View All to go to the Bookmarks page to access your bookmarked content.
- Copy: You can copy content you want to save and view later.
- The copy action copies the article link to your device's clipboard.
- Paste the link in a text file for later or open a browser tab and paste the link to navigate to the article.
Launch Services
See all the services that you have access to. Each tile takes you to the service using single sign-on (SSO).
Service Health
See the health and status of your Omnissa products from the Service Health area of the Connect Home page. Discover information for your Omnissa services, upcoming maintenance and planned upgrades, and security advisories.
You can report problems with your Omnissa services using the Report issue menu option in the widget.
Service status
The Service status tab displays the instances and regions of your Omnissa services depending on the organization selected. In the Details column of the tab, select the View link to get specific information concerning the Omnissa service's status.
You can interact with the All services and Incident history menu options on this tab. Both tabs offer a subscription menu option so you can stay current on services and incidents.
- All services: Select this button to access a model displaying the All services status page, a page of all Omnissa services across all regions, not just your services.
- You can also access this page from https://status.workspaceone.com/.
- Incident history: Select this button to access the Incident History modal to view a list of past Omnissa services incidents.
Planned events
The Planned events tab displays upcoming maintenance and planned upgrades specific to the Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM product. To get more information concerning an upgrade or a maintenance event, use the Health and Environments link to access the Health & Environments page. 
Security advisories
The Security advisories tab lists the security advisories for the last 90 days.
- For details about an advisory, use the View details link to navigate to the associated Omnissa Security Advisory (OMSA) page.
- You can also select the CVE identifier to navigate to the NIST National Vulnerability Database for an explanation of the CVE.

To view a list of all the security advisories for all Omnissa services, select the All advisories button. On this page, you can filter advisories by service, severity, and deployment type (SaaS or On-Prem). You can also view a list of Omnissa security advisories on the Security response page on the Omnissa site.
License Consumption
Use the License Consumption widget to view information about Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM licenses. Use the information to analyze UEM license use, find licenses you can reuse and assign, and research and receive renewal information and options.

Navigate to the License Consumption page using the View usage menu option to find UEM metrics, trends, and charts. Use the Status identifier to find licenses that are expired or soon to expire. You can contact the Omnissa Renewals team by email using the UI to discover renewal options. Use the graphs on this page to help you plan and optimize your UEM license use.
- Total License Consumption: This graph displays the total licenses and the total devices over time.
- Use it to compare the licenses you purchased to the number of enrolled devices.
- Active vs. Inactive Devices: This graph displays a snapshot, as of today, of the number of active devices compared to the number of inactive devices.
- Knowing the number of inactive devices helps you identify licenses you can reuse and assign to devices that need them.
- Enrolled vs. Active Devices: This graph compares enrolled devices to active devices, as a time series, over one year.
- The system identifies a license as consumed if a device is active and enrolled (not just active).
- Knowing the number of active devices that are not enrolled let's you know the number of devices that are not consuming their licenses.
There are some requirements to meet to access this information in Omnissa Connect.
- To view the widget and the page, you must have the role of Owner, Administrator, or Consumption viewer.

- You must have an Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM subscription.

Support Requests
If you have access to support requests in Customer Connect, then you can see all open support requests for the enterprise account your email ID belongs to. Omnissa Connect provides the Support Requests space as a quick glance and easy access to your support requests. All of the functionality and detailed views for each support request still exists in Customer Connect. The links at the top of the table take you to Customer Connect through SSO.
