Delete an Edge

You can delete the Edge, after which, all the resources in the Edge will be deleted.

Prerequisites

  • The pool groups in the Edge are deleted.
  • The pools in the Edge are deleted.
  • The images in the Edge are deleted.
  • The Unified Access Gateway (UAG) is deleted.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Horizon Cloud. See Log in to Horizon Cloud.

  2. From the Horizon Universal Console, click Horizon Edges on the Home page.

  3. Select the Horizon Edge that you want to delete.

  4. Click Delete to remove the selected Edge or Edges.

  5. Click Delete on the Confirm Delete dialog box to delete all the application volumes file shares.

    After you delete the Edge, all the resources related to the Edge, such as Application Storage (fileshares) and App Volumes Applications and Packages, are deleted in the background.

    Note: If you delete a Horizon Edge for Microsoft Azure that contains a multitenant app (also referred to an as Omnissa managed app), you must also delete the multitenant app from your Microsoft Azure portal.
