Add a resource provider for integrated Windows 365

After you have added a Horizon Edge for use with integrated Windows 365, you are ready to add a resource provider.

Prerequisites

Before performing the steps in this task, complete the following prerequistes in the workflow:

Add a Horizon Edge that is associated with a primary Microsoft Azure provider subscription. See Add a Horizon Edge for integrated Windows 365.

Procedure

  1. From the Horizon Universal Console, click Capacity > Providers and then click Add > Windows 365 to open the Add Provider page.

  2. Enter a unique Provider Name and in the Azure Provider Instance field, select the primary Microsoft Azure Horizon Edge that you created in the Prerequisite task, or any other valid primary Horizon Edge that you may have available.

    Note: This is the Azure provider instance (Azure subscription) to be used for Windows 365 Cloud PCs to connect to Horizon Cloud in a target region.

  3. Complete the Add Provider form and click Save.

  4. A confirmation page appears, stating that the provider has been added and prompting you to create a pool. Click Finish or Create Pool. By clicking Create Pool, the workflow will take you to the Add Pool page.

  5. Proceed to the next step in the process at Create a pool for use with integrated Windows 365.
