Delete an Image for OpenStack Platform9

You can delete an OpenStack Platform9 image when it is no longer needed.

Prerequisites:

• The image is in Available state.
• No pools are currently associated with the image.

Delete an OpenStack Platform9 Image

1. In the Horizon Universal Console, navigate to Images.
2. Select the OpenStack Platform9 image that you want to delete.
3. Click Delete from the action bar.
4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

The image is deleted from the Horizon Universal Console.

Note: Deleting an image does not delete the original VM snapshot in your OpenStack Platform9 environment. The snapshot remains available in your OpenStack library.
