You can entitle, unentitle, or remove a desktop provided by a pool group for your environment using the respective capabilities in the Desktop and App Catalog page. From the same page, you can also edit the pool group which provides the desktop.
In the Desktops grid, Type indicates the type of pool group that provides the desktop.
Prerequisites
Ensure that you have created a pool group which provides the desktop.

Entitle a Desktop
You can assign a desktop to a user or user group using the Entitle functionality.
You can unassign the desktop from the user or user group using the Unentitle functionality.
Procedure

In the Horizon Universal Console, navigate to Desktop and App Catalog.

In the Desktops tab, select the desktop which needs to be assigned.

Select ENTITLEMENT > Entitle.

In the Entitle Desktops page, navigate to the Users section, and select the User types.

Depending on the User types selected, search and add the user or user group. The added user type appears in the Selected users/user groups table.

Click Save.
Desktop is entitled to the user or user group.
- Optional: To view all entitlements or assignees for a desktop, click the desired desktop in the Desktop and App Catalog page.
- All assignees are displayed.
- To unassign a desktop from an assignee, select the assignee, and click Unentitle. In the Unentitle Desktop window, click Unentitle. The desktop gets unassigned from the user and the user is no longer listed in the Entitlements page.

Edit a Pool Group
From the Desktop and App Catalog page, you can edit the pool group that provides the desktop. The availability of the Edit option on this page enhances usability as you need not navigate away from this page to edit a pool group.
To remove a desktop, use the Delete button on Desktop and App Catalog page.
Procedure

Select the desktop whose pool group you want to edit.

Click Edit.

In the Edit Pool Group page, you can edit pool group details such as Name, Display Name, Description, and Policies. You can also select additional pools to add to the pool group.

After editing the pool group details, click Save.
