Using the Console Search Feature

Use the search feature in the Horizon Universal Console to look for the supported-search items available in your environment.

Currently, administrators can search by end user name and by VM name.

• Users - You can search for end users by first name, last name, or display name.
• VMs – You can search for virtual machines by the VM name.

Note: Support for the VM card search feature depends on your infrastructure and capacity providers. Currently, the VM search feature is not supported for Horizon 8 VMs.

To search:

1. Click the Search for Resources and Users field.
2. Click the User or VM tab.
3. Enter the required minimum characters:
   • Two characters for a user name.
   • Three characters for a VM name.

Note: You can continue entering more characters to narrow the results.

4. Click the name in the search results to view more details.
