Unset CURRENT Marker on an App Volumes Application Package in Horizon Cloud

If an application package marked as Current is no longer the latest version, you can remove the Current marker on the package. If you set the marker on another package for the same application, then this action automatically unsets the marker on the earlier package.

An application can have only one package marked as Current.

When a marker is removed from a package, the entitlements stop receiving the Current package. If the marker is moved to another package, then the entitlements automatically start receiving the package which is set Current.

Important: If the application associated with this package is delivered as a published application on demand, removing the CURRENT marker on the package results in the user not receiving the application from the Horizon Client or Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub.

Procedure

  1. In the Horizon Universal Console navigate to Desktop and App Catalog > App Volumes.

  2. Click View Packages.

    ""

  3. Select the package which has the Current marker.

  4. Click MARKERS > Remove Current.

  5. In the Remove Current confirmation window, click REMOVE.

Package no longer has the Current marker.
