When notifications are enabled, you receive messages from your organization on the For You page of the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub app. Notifications appear as cards in a feed, and you'll see a circular badge with a count on both the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub app icon and on the For You page when new messages are available.
You can receive notifications in the following ways:
- The For You Tab: View all notification cards in one place. Administrators can configure a custom name for this tab in the Hub Services console. See Rename the For You Tab in Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub.
- Push Alerts: Receive notifications even when the app is closed.
- Badge Indicators: See at a glance how many notifications are waiting.
The For You tab is available on the following devices or platforms:
- Mobile Devices (iOS and Android) - bottom navigation bar.
- Web Portal - top navigation bar.
- Desktop Hub Apps (Windows, macOS).
Understanding Notification Badges
When you have new notifications, one or more circular badges, each with a number displayed, appears in two places, as such:
- On Your Device Home Screen: The Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub app icon shows the total count of unread notifications.
- In the App Navigation: The For You page displays the count of notifications waiting for you.
Badge Behavior
- The badge count includes all priority and actionable notifications (read or unread), plus unread informational notifications.
- Badges persist across all your devices. The same count appears whether you are on a phone, tablet, or computer.
- Badges update automatically when new notifications arrive.
- Badges clear when you view or dismiss notifications.
- If push notifications are enabled, you receive notifications even when the app is closed.
What the Badge Count Means:
- Circular Badge with Number - You have notifications to review.
- No Badge - No pending notifications ("You are all caught up!").
Notification Priority Levels
Notifications are sent at different priority levels that affect how and where they appear on the For You tab.
Standard Notifications
Most messages are sent as standard notifications. They appear in the For You page in chronological order.
High-Priority Notifications
High-priority messages appear at the top of the For You page in the Priority section, above actionable and informational notifications. The badge count includes high-priority notifications until you take action. You might also see a banner alerting you to the incoming priority notification. Tapping the banner takes you directly to the For You page.
Urgent Notifications
Urgent messages display as pop-ups that appear on top of the app screen. You must take action on all urgent notifications before you can proceed to another screen.

Card Groupings
The For You tab organizes cards into sections:
- Priority: Urgent and high-priority notifications.

- Tap action buttons to respond (the card moves to History).
- Swipe or tap dismiss to remove informational cards (the card moves to History).

Push Notifications
When a new notification arrives, the following occurs:
- An alert is pushed to your device (even if the app is closed).
- The badge count increases on the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub app icon and For You page.
- A sound or vibration (based on your device settings).
- A notification card appears on the For You page.
Tapping the push notification takes you directly to the For You page to view the card.
Notification Lifecycle
When you tap an action button to respond to a notification, or when you delete it, the notification moves to the History folder. Notifications are archived in History for 90 days, after which they are automatically deleted.
Notification Settings
Notifications are enabled by default in the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub app.
Note: Notification settings are managed at the device level. No in-app toggle exists to disable notifications within Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub itself.
