App Volumes Integration

Register Omnissa App Volumes with Omnissa Intelligence to use App Volumes data in the Omnissa Workspace ONE Experience Management solution for Windows and Horizon. You can also deauthorize the App Volumes integration from Intelligence and get a new credentials file if you need one after upgrading App Volumes. App Volumes is a Data Source and it ingests data into the reports data warehouse for use in Experience Management dashboards.

App Volumes documentation

Find details on how to use the credentials file downloaded from Intelligence in the App Volumes in the topic Integrate App Volumes Manager and Omnissa Workspace ONE Experience Management.

Go to App Volumes for lists of data definitions.

Registering App Volumes

To display App Volumes data in dashboards, authorize it to share data with Intelligence.

Note: Save the credentials file so you can re-upload it to the App Volumes Manager console after an upgrade. If you do not save the credentials file, you can register App Volumes again in Intelligence and get a new credentials file.

  1. In Intelligence, go to Integrations > Data Sources and select Set Up on the App Volumes card.
Find App Volumes in the Integrations section as a Data Source. Use its data in dashboards.
  2. Select Get Started in the modal.
    • Connector Permissions: This tab does not contain any configurable settings at the time of setup.
    • Download Credential: This tab outlines your task of downloading the credential file and uploading it to App Volumes.
  3. Select Download Credential and use the downloaded file to complete the setup in the App Volumes Manager console.
Retrieve the credentials file so you can uploade it to App Volumes, which authorizes communication between the systems.
  4. Save the credentials file for use later if you upgrade App Volumes.

Deauthorizing App Volumes

Decouple App Volumes from Intelligence using the Deauthorize menu option.

  1. In Intelligence, go to Integrations > Data Sources and find the App Volumes card.
  2. Access the deauthorize menu option in several ways.
    • Option 1: Select the ellipses on the card and select to Deauthorize the integration.

What if you need to upgrade App Volumes?

After you upgrade App Volumes, the integration system does not re-upload the credentials file to the App Volumes Manager console.

  • If you saved the credentials file, you can re-upload the original credentials file to the App Volumes Manager console.
  • If you did not save the credentials file, you can take the listed steps.
    1. In Intelligence, deauthorize the current integration.
    2. Register App Volumes in Intelligence and get a new credentials file to upload to the App Volumes Manager console.
